Champps

This modern sports bar is a nice spot, but it's a bit pricey for what you get. Five of us ate there, and the bill was a bit of a shock. We all thought the food was good, not great, but it was well-presented. Our server was friendly and attentive. Overall, it's a decent place, but I'd probably give it 3.5 stars if that was an option.

Food is usually pretty good although it's not as good as when it first opened. Fun, lively atmosphere. Very busy

Good drinks. Good service. The patio has enough space between tables that you don't feel like you're sitting on eachothers laps, which is great. Southwestern burger is delightful! Great flavor with a good sized patty. Sampler platter is a little high in cost, but it's tasty.

This review isn't just about the food or the atmosphere at Champps in Eden Prairie, it's about the service delivered by one incredible person: Kevale, the bartender. I can confidently say Kevale is, without a doubt, the greatest bartender I have ever encountered. The level of professionalism and attentiveness he provides is staggering. He is a master of his craft, but more importantly, he possesses the rare ability to manage a busy bar while simultaneously making every single guest feel seen and immediately taken care of. The true measure of his excellence is this: I don't live nearby, but I travel specifically to this location because I know Kevale works here. I will never hesitate to drive out of my way because I know he will never let you down or leave you hanging, whether you need a quick refill, a recommendation, or just a friendly face. His consistent reliability is why I am loyal. Kevale is an enormous asset to the Eden Prairie Champps, and management needs to take note. This man absolutely deserves a significant raise. His presence elevates the entire experience, turning a standard sports bar into a destination. Thank you, Kevale, for being the best!

Stopped here on a whim for some food and basketball games. We're from our out of town, but it was close to our hotel. Major win!! TVs everywhere. $5 burger & fries special!? Yes, $5!! They ate half the burger before I took a picture, but delicious burgers for the price. Atmosphere was great. The parking lot looked really busy but there's tons of seating. Friendly staff. 5 stars across the board.

Very nice patio and inside were nice as well. Double Bacon Grilled Cheese burger was meh. I think it has potential, though. Some tweaks to it, and it could be a great sandwich. It's just too squishy for me. The appetizer sampler platter was great. I loved that. I would come back and eat that again.

The soup and salad were good. The loaded potatoe soup was average at best. The cesar sald was a balanced combination of greens and dressing. The original Philly cheesesteak was slightly above average (if you don't live or acustum to authentic Philadelphia cheesesteaks. Service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was what you would expect from a franchise. The cheesesteak bun could have been toasted more and and the beef was lacking a bit of seasoning. I recommend having the chipotle aioli on the side for a more authentic cheesesteak experience. The French fries were blassay. Will come come back for a football game but not necessarily a date night destination.

Food was delicious. Waiter was great. The 77 was made perfect. No complaints from us. We have gone back a few more times and still great food and awesome wait staff. We will miss this place when we move .
